John Broadwood & Sons have been producing the finest pianos since 1728. The ‘barless’ design of the frame is a particular invention of theirs that has achieved collectors status, and rarity value.

In fact, there has been a whole book written about this extraordinary design, which achieves a richness and evenness of tone hard to emulate. This particular fully refurbished instrument is in a beautiful box mahogany moulded casework with ball and claw legs. See John Broadwood & Sons Ltd. Finchcocks Goudhurst Kent England.
