Stromenger (transplanted Yamaha Digi) @£2500

This beautiful Stromenger piano dating back to the 1870′s has been salvaged by replacing the internal mechanism with a Yamaha digital piano, thereby giving it a new lease of life.

We call this transplanting in the trade and it allows us to take beautiful and unusual instrument cases with finishes such as burr walnut, detailed inlay, fantastic fretwork and wonderfully carved mouldings that are not available as an option with modern pianos and we are able to install either a digital piano (as in this case) or a modern, acoustic piano.
