Classics for All is a registered charity (1135379) committed to advancing education in the Classics.  To help us promote our charitable objects we will sometimes ask you to provide certain personal information.  This Privacy Statement explains what information we may collect, how we will use this information, the steps we take to protect that information and confirms your rights in respect of that information.

Classics for All is fully committed to the principles of data protection.

You may at times be asked to supply personal information via our website.  This might include your name, date of birth, email address, postal address, telephone number and credit/debit care details.  We may also gather information about the use of our websites, such as which pages users visit and are of most interest.

We will use your personal information to provide you with the information you have requested, for administration purposes, to update you on our progress and to further our charitable aims including for fundraising purposes.

We use a secure server when you make a donation or payment via our website.  We take appropriate measures to ensure that the personal information disclosed to us is kept secure, accurate and up to date and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used.

Do we share your information with others?

Classics for All does not rent or sell mailing details to any third party.  However we may pass your information to our service providers and agents for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you.  Where we use service providers we will make sure that there are appropriate controls in place.
